Does anyone else see a plain white screen for atlasquest this morning?
For some reason, most mornings I have trouble getting onto atlasquest
(it being slow... perhaps Ryan's running updates early in the AM),
however this morning, it's a plain white screen!

Weeeeeird.... If you view the source of the page, there's really nothing in it. The body of the page is blank. How strange. I left an AQ page open last night, some letterbox clues, and have tried going somewhere from those pages. Still just blank white screen.
Man, if we had Ryan's phone number, we would get really obnoxious in this kind of situation...haha...

Such a pity that the computer universe has these horrid glitches. I'm

affliction at the same time! Funhog

Oh! and one more thing... I just found that clues that are listed on
AQ and linked from LbNA still come up when you click on them.

You CAN still get to the clues on AQ - you just can't get to the
stuff you have to log in for. You know, the important stuff like
mail, boards, etc. ;)

I just discovered that, while you can't log in to AQ, you *can* still
access clues. So you can't get to your mailbox or 'my page' but you can
still access clues and boards - could be worse!

Funny you said that--I just gave my phone number out to a couple of
people this morning saying that if a problem of this magnitude happens
again, by all means, WAKE ME UP so I can fix it! =)
Not sure I want to post the phone number for everyone, but I figured a
small handful of people who are likely to discover the issue before I
wake up (especially those early morning right-coast risers) can do
something more than wait for me to wake up.
In any case.... the problem this morning affected the log in code. As
long as you weren't trying to log in or register, the site worked just
fine. Some people might not have realized this if you set it to
automatically log you in when you first visit the page. AQ was
silently trying to log you in and would fail in a glorious fashion.
But the login code has been fixed and all is working well now.
Hopefully next time around, there will be someone around who can
actually wake me up instead of waiting for the sun to do its job and
the problem won't last nearly as long as it did this time. *nodding*
